Session #73: Search for the Missing Ship

[run by Joel, in answer to a call to adventure that he had developed, but the Scribes had failed to post in a timely way; this recap written by him--thanks, Joel! And per Joel, there is more to be discovered regarding what happened to this ship in the caves discovered during this expedition ...]

Our heroes gather at the Kantor to meet the Bounty Agent Duncan and hear his quest that he negotiates for the merchant guild and the river lords. A ship has been missing for a time, and the merchant guilds are asking for information as to what has happened to its ship and crew and for anyone to recover them if possible. The river lords are asking to find out what has stopped this ship from arriving in their lands, as river trading is an essential part of their economy. The party can be seen boarding the Saint Iskameen to sail upriver, their name and number follow:

Najm (magic-user 4)

followed by Mei (fighter 2)

Barlow (magic-user 1)

followed by Kogus (bulrathi) hired as a bodyguard

Heijo (magic-user 6)

They are later seen arriving back in the harbor, unmarked and bearing many fine fabrics and textiles. Rounds of ale are bought, tankards knock together and smiles appear on faces. Rumors say that it was the easiest money that an adventurer could hope to come. It seems the party was able to find the trading vessel and recover some of the cargo but how the ship got down in that cavern is still a mystery.
