North-east of the great harbor of Cothon, rising up over the headlands that stand over the Sea of Dirac, the great ancient and artificial mountain Tel al Safina looms over both the Dual-Cities and the ruins of Tsurr al Qadim.
And on the northern slopes of the Tel rises the Great Spire of the Attines, a huge Klackon spire-city surrounded by the terraced gardens that supply its undergarden with the vegetation required to rot for the fungal foodstuffs of the ant-like Klackons--terraces worked by human slaves, overseen by mantis-like insectoid Klackon warriors.
Within the Spire, a veritable city of the Klackons is held--completely separate from the Dual-Cities and the Klackon-human alliance that literally built Cothon-Gadeed--a city traditionally aloof from the worries of the Xholda-Klackons of Cothon, or of their human allies in Cothon. As reported by the Surviors of the Tel and other barbarian-adventurers who have ventured into the Spire's center, as one steps into the middle of the great Spire, one looks upon a market square as great as the Grand Souk of Cothon itself, a wide space with a great fountain in its center, surrounded on each side by the "manors" of the Six Houses, all grown over by decorative fungal growths that glow with an illuminative dim blue light. Meanwhile Alkari and shanu'u and dlakolel hover and buzz through the air above.
And in the square, just as in the Grand Souk of Cothon, merchants offer wares--wares traded from House to House, and between Klackon and Alkari, and sold sometimes to human interlopers from the hinterlands, or such as the Bani al Rashids who traditionally took interest in the Attine-Klackons.
Now, it has been several weeks since the Survivors and their comrades "cleansed" the Attine Sixth House, destroying an infestation of strange parasitical creatures that had made their home within the manor, and killed all Klackon life in the same House. Following a kind of alliance between these Survivors and the Fifth House of the Spire, and the Survivors' subsequent success in "cleansing" the Sixth House, the Attine council of Princesses has agreed to open their market to the presence of the Survivors, and other barbarian-adventurers of like-ilk.

Therefor, if one should venture from Cothon out the Gate of Fishermen, climb the headland, and seek access to the Great Spire, one would find one's way into the Market of the Klackons, and there find such goods for sale:
A possible use of dlakolel mandibles and/or chitin |
This is not a limited-time offer, but the Klackon Market is now open to barbarian-adventurers based out of Cothon-Gadeed. Quantities are only limited according to reasonability, same as the specialty items offered by the Four Great Taverns ...
